Vinegar Syndrome Releases

Vinegar Syndrome are having their Halfway To Black Friday sale on May 26th. In addition they are releasing SHOWGIRLS 4K UHD (1995), THE BOOGEYMAN 4K UHD (1980), A BLADE IN THE DARK 4K UHD (1983), VILLAGES OF THE DAMNED: THREE HORRORS FROM SPAIN (1970-1979) & SICK OF MYSELF (2022)  

Arrow Films Releases

Arrow Films is releasing THE SCAREMAKER aka GIRLS NITE OUT!,HAND OF DEATH LIMMITED EDITION (1976), WATERWORLD LIMITED EDITION 4K UHD (1995), WARRIORS TWO LIMITED EDITION ARROW STORE EXCLUSIVE (1978). Also have a couple of boxsets coming out YUSAKU MATSUDA THE GAME TRILOGY LIMITED EDITION which comes with THE MOST DANGEROUS GAME (1978), THE KILLING GAME (1978) & THE EXECUTION GAME (1979). The other boxset is straight form the video store & it’s called ENTER THE VIDEO STORE - EMPIRE OF SCREAMS LIMITED EDITION & it includes THE DOUNGEOMASTER (1984), DOLLS (1987), CELLAR DWELLER (1987), ARENA (1989) & ROBOT JOX (1989).

Criterion Collection Releases

A bittersweet family portrait set in San Francisco’s Chinese American community DIM SUM: A LITTTLE BIT OF HEART (1985) , a rediscovered 1990s treasure of dynamic DIY filmmaking DRYLONSO (1998) , & a quartet of poetic, political films by a pivotal Swedish auteur BO WIDERBERG’S NEW SWEDISH CINEMA which includes THE BABY CARRIAGE (1963), RAVEN’S END (1963), ELVIRA MADIGAN (1967) & ADALEN (1969). Plus: a visually sumptuous journey through the imagination of Akira Kurosawa called AKIRA KUROSAWA’S DREAMS (1990).

Cauldron Films Releases

Cauldron has 3 films ready for limited pre-order this month. we have OFF BALANCE (1987) with CD soundtrack, TOP LINE (1988) & THE LAST MATCH (1991).

Shout! Factory Releases

Shout Factory has a lot of releases up for pre-order this month. Lets start with the Chucky movies coming out in 4K, we have BRIDE OF CHUCKY (1998) 4K UHD, SEED OF CHUCKY (2004) 4K UHD, CULT OF CHUCKY (2017) 4K UHD & CURSE OF CHUCKY (2013) 4K UHD. Other 4k titles coming out are THE BURNING (1981) 4K UHD, UPGRADE (2018) 4K UHD & WORLD WAR Z (2013) 4K UHD. A couple more notable releases are TEAM AMERICA WORLD POLICE UNCENSORED AND UNRATED (2004) & SUPERSTORE: THE COMPLETE SERIES.
